I was not a strong student. Hearing loss made every classroom a challenge others couldn't see. But I refused to let that be my ceiling. Through dedicated work, personal tutoring, and relentless determination, I earned my place at the University of California, Berkeley — one of the greatest universities in the world — and graduated with a 3.0 GPA. I didn't belong there on paper. But I belonged there in spirit — a Division I athlete with hearing loss proving that the disability does not define the destiny. After Berkeley, I built a career as a multi-million dollar employee benefits insurance broker — using the same drive that carried me through college. Then my passion brought me back to the beginning: hearing loss. The condition I was born with became the mission I was built for. I founded Assured Hearing LLC to do what no one else was willing to do — mobilize diagnostic-grade hearing healthcare to every person on earth, regardless of income, location, or access. Because I know what they are living. We are FDA registered and the only approved mobile audiology testing company within the VA and U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs — serving employers, educational institutions, occupational health, and skilled nursing facilities across the United States, South Africa, and 100+ countries.
